What is On-the-Day Wedding Stationery?
Unlike wedding invitations, which are sent out before the big day, on-the-day wedding stationery refers to all the printed, etched or engraved materials used during the wedding itself.
These can include:
• Wedding welcome signs – The perfect way to greet your guests as they arrive. And to remind them whose wedding they’re at, later on in the evening when bubbles have been free flowing all day.
• Wedding place cards/ name places – Essential for helping guests find their seats but also a lovely way to personalise your guest experience and make them feel really included in your big day. Those who’s names have unusual spellings, who’ve never been able to get a pen with their name on, get really excited when they see something that you’ve had made bespoke for them.
• Wedding table plans – A beautifully designed wedding seating chart to organise your reception and your guests. Sometimes these are an essential way to keep family politics off the agenda for the day.
• Wedding menus – Not only showcasing your delicious food and drink options, but giving everyone a little reminder of what they might have ordered.
• Order of the day signage – Allowing your guests to relax into the day knowing what is expected and when. I always advise to include this somewhere in your day.
• Table names or number for your wedding breakfast – A stylish way to name or number your tables. Naming your tables is a great conversation starter for your guests as well as being a super easy way to add a really personal touch to your venue.
At Etch Cut Studio I offer so many different styles of stationery and I design and make it myself in my home studio so you can get the chance to creat something bespoke from scratch.
