At Etch + Cut we are committed to protecting the data and privacy of all of our users. We believe in open, transparent communication that puts our users’ needs first. 

Etch + Cut has identified how we are given consent of personal information and identify how we intend to use this information on a lawful basis for processing during the purchase of your hand-lettered items.  We consult on how we seek, record and manage the information and improve on any data legislation. We can delete this information at any point from our methods.  We hold this information which is kept for accountancy purposes for seven years and then deleted.

A booking is confirmed when the client has paid Etch Cut Studio the required 1st payment/ deposit. Confirmation of the order must be made in writing by email from the client to Etch Cut Studio.

The prices stated on the quote are valid for 7 days after the quote is dated.


In running and maintaining our website and information provided voluntarily by you we may collect and process this information only to: 

1.     Register your enquiry.

2.     Communicate with you during the booking process and up until your wedding date and thereafter.

3.     Assist with the accurate details and collection of your order.

4.     Communicate with you about any other information that you provide to us with regards to you, your order and your wedding day. 

5.     Plus all other communication to help us deliver a service to you in connection to your wedding day.

6.     To inform you of any changes to our website, all services or goods and products.

7.     For our internal record keeping. 

8.     For accountancy purposes and record keeping for HMRC.

 Where such consent has been provided it can be withdrawn by you at any time.
